TRANSIT - VIAGGIO IN VAL BREGAGLIA

From June 7th to September 27th 2026 will take place the fourth edition of the Biennale Bregaglia, set against the stunning backdrop of the Val Bregaglia. The exhibition will lead from Maloja (including the Torre Belvedere), through Alp Cavloc, Casaccia, Borgonovo, Stampa, and Promontogno (including Nossa Dona), all the way to the national border at Castasegna, visitors will be able to retrace several ancient routes of connection.
The concept is based on the theme of “Transit”, a true journey through the many dimensions of movement, exchange, and connection in a valley that has always served as a route for travel and trade.
“Transit” has multiple meanings: it implies a physical movement from one place to another, as well as a process involving a substantial change in one or more conditions. It encompasses objects, goods, planets, territories, and people in relation to the dimensions of time and space.
